ISKA membership is required annually. International membership is required for athletes contesting internationally on an ISKA sanctioned events. There are a number of things you can do to protect yourself and others when you’re contesting under ISKA. The obvious top three are not contesting if you’re injured or unwell (any cold or flu-like symptoms) and seeking medical clearance before you proceed with any offered contest. Adhering to ISKA rules and regulations of any given contest is mandatory in order to maintain safety. ISKA recommends that contestants and trainers attend a rules meeting prior to any given contest. ISKA’s medical officials will check your medical condition before you contest, and medical clearance forms should always be completed by your doctor prior to competing.
